A1 Golf (Murcia) Limited is owned by Bobby and Iain Ferguson. Bobby has over 20 years senior management experience in manufacturing and Iain has 10 years retail and service sector industry experience as well as being an ex-footballer.

Iain Ferguson played over 20 years at the highest level in the Scottish Premier League. He began his career with Dundee in 1978 at the age of 16 and in 1983 he was transferred to Rangers for a then Scottish record transfer fee. In October 1983 he scored the winning goal in the Scottish League cup final.In August 1985 he was transferred to Dundee United and was top goalscorer in Scotland that year and also helped them reach the UEFA Cup final, Scottish Cup final and finish 2nd in the league. He is fondly rememberred for scoring the winning goal in the tie with Barcelona at the Nou Camp that year. He went on to play for Hearts and then Motherwell where he scored the first goal in the 1991 Scottich Cup Final victory over Dundee United.
